How our same day service works..
This denture is available on the same day and we have carefully created timelines to accommodate patients who might be travelling long distances to see us. Your day with us will be very carefully planned and during your visit you will be allocated your own senior prosthetics technician to guarantee that everything will go smoothly. Your clinical treatment will be provided by Dr Sophie Hellewell who has 20 years experience providing dentures. At HQ dental you will receive a warm welcome and as our guest you will have the use of a private waiting room in between appointments-of course we’ll provide lunch and look after you. Some of our patients choose to escape for a couple of hours and spend some of their time in between appointments in the afternoon to exploreLeeds. On the day of your treatment will need you to be at HQ dental in Leeds for your first appointment at 10am (10.30 at the absolute latest).
10 am for your consultation ,oral health check and primary impressions. We will then need you to wait with us until your next appointment at..
12-1pm for the wax denture ‘try in’ stage-at this appointment we can can modify and change things until we are completely happy with the position of the teeth on the base and that we’re happy with the aesthetics. We will then process and finish your dentures aiming for your next appointment at..
4.30-5pm for the denture fit.
Just to be absolutely sure that your new dentures are comfortable we will ask you to wear them for 20minutes before leaving. We might also ask you to test them out by eating something…..just to be sure-we want to be certain that your new dentures fit perfectly without any issues.

It’s a quick service-will my dentures be rushed?….absolutely not-your treatment will be carefully planned and throughout the day your own dedicated senior technician will ensure that everything runs smoothly and that your new dentures will be perfect.
I live miles away from Leeds-what if I have a problem with my new dentures and they need adjusting afterwards?…..one of the main benefits of coming to us is that impressions are cast within minutes-this means that they don’t have time to distort which in turn means that our dentures fit more accurately and very rarely need adjusting.
After fitting your new dentures we will ask you to wear them for 20 minutes and eat something before leaving HQ just to be absolutely sure that everything is fine. HQ dental is a large company serving dentists nationally and in the very unlikely event that problems do arise we will probably be able to find a dentist who is local to you who will make adjustments on our behalf.
This all sound good-where is HQ dental?….we are conveniently situated on the outskirts of Leeds (on the South side) just inside the outer ring road and easily accessed from the M1 and the M62. Leeds Central train station is 15minutes away by taxi and Leeds Bradford airport is 30 minutes by taxi.
